Healthcare Executive
Kelly Hoover Thompson serves as the Executive Director-Elect of the Student Nurses’ Association of PA. She will formally assume the position on January 1, 2026. Kelly is an accomplished healthcare executive and attorney, having worked in global healthcare, all levels of government and public service, and brings decades of experience in association leadership. She is deeply committed to transformation, organizational development, and strategic leadership. With extensive experience in nonprofit organizations, governance, and legal strategy, Kelly brings a unique perspective to advancing the mission and impact of the Student Nurses’ Association of Pennsylvania.
Kelly is a passionate advocate for innovation and people-centered care and believes that strong leadership and inclusive collaboration are the foundations of thriving organizations and healthy communities. Strengthening systems that support the whole person—mentally, physically, and emotionally are keystones to impacting the healthcare industry. In the role of Executive Director-Elect of SNAP, she is honored to collaborate with student nurse leaders across Pennsylvania, supporting their growth, advocacy, and engagement in the future of nursing, as well as the broader SNAP Community of the Commonwealth’s faculty advisors and supportive vendors.
